Without a US market mRNA vaccines don't make financial sense for a lot of things. This decision will not just mean Americans die, it means a versatile effective series of new vaccines will not make it to market worldwide. Our ignorant fear kills across borders.

Once the corps and oligarchs 100% took the news mass media it was really game over wasn’t it? Reagan killed the fairness doctrine. Clinton & Repubs then scrapped rules prohibiting media consolidation. Followed by 25 yrs of mergers, hiring careerists & firing real journalists and here we are.

Lyons says ICE agents actually "took care" of 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos when they detained him, before shipping him off to a horrific Texas ICE facility. He says ICE officers "comforted him" as they chased his dad, put him in their car to play "his favorite music, then took him to McDonalds."

Obviously exercise is an outstanding partial treatment for mild depression and is generally a great thing. However, huge problems arise when people expect that exercise will help people with moderate/severe depression the same way. Exercise DOES help me, but it's a teensy drop in a bucket.

The vast majority of Democratic politicians, including many who fancy themselves ICE opponents, remain deeply invested in the narrative that some immigrants are bad guys and others are good guys, and that the bad guys deserve deportation. Here's a story about what this kind of thinking can produce:
