There's a combination of stupidity and noxiousness in Trump's latest post that's just staggering. I'm looking forward to seeing which conservative Catholic public intellectuals condemn this.

I hope Péter Magyar (1) moves quickly to enact liberalizing constitutional and institutional reforms; (2) puts in place fast-moving, hard-charging prosecutors to root out Orbánian graft and grift; and (3) enforces strict anti-corruption policies so the transition to Tisza doesn't fail in that way.

The latest numbers from Hungary have the Péter Magyar-led opposition party Tisza winning 138 seats, well over the 2/3 threshold (133 seats) required for passing constitutional reforms. (Viktor Orbán and his party, Fidesz, with the allied KDNP, abused this power to remake Hungary since 2010.)
