I turned on Proton Experimental with FSR 4.1 on the Steam Machine and the short version is if the game natively supports it, it looks immensely better.

There was an interpretation of Bioshock Infinite’s log line I kinda liked where it was like “a nation built on blood can never be rehabilitated” but for the most part it’s just kinda time travel horseshoe theory bullshit. I’d like to see a better game do that other idea justice.

Playing Sekiro with the Steam Controller rocks because the back paddles are semi flush so if you hold the right side you can just constantly be at a full sprint while sucking up materials. Game changer for grinding.

Minus the few times we got sent something (the Steam machine, a few controllers) everything I write about is out of my own pocket. I see it as an investment in my writing and my workplace. The BC250 is going to a friend when I’m done tweaking it.

Yeah that is without FSR either and I did not even attempt optiscaler/FSR 4.1. It's more power hungry and louder than the Steam Machine but you can also fix the shared memory between the two sides which is nice. Also it's a full computer.
