The first time I saw REAL LIFE, I was a child and clever enough to know that the movie was a comedy and that things were happening were jokes, BUT I also simultaneously believed that much of the documentary was "real" and the comedy part was just punching up and scripting some things.

I don't know anything about the economy but one thing I do know is that even if you get a little bit of money together, lately, there's nothing cool to spend it on. Electronics are cheaply made and break quickly. Clothing, same deal. Very few things feel like an investment or luxury!
