In today's #archery news, after last week's disappointment, this time I managed a PB of 494/600, an improvement of 4 points. I still didn't crack 500 though, despite a half-way score of 253 - better than last week's. End scores were 52 52 47 51 51 54 43 49 50 and 45. Ends 7 and 10 let me down.

Really peeved with #archery today. I started with ends of 54, 52 and 49, and by halfway was on 249 - my PB of 490 was in serious danger and the mythical 500 in sight. After 7 ends I was on 355, but ends 8 & 9 went to pieces, just 37 & 38, for a final score of 478/600.

Yesterday's roasties, cooked in the fat of the goose that was sat above them, smoking & roasting in the barbecue. They were incredible - crispy shells with soft creamy interiors. We only ate 4 of them between the two of us, so plenty left for the remaining gallon of gravy.
