I want you to fall in love with Ukraine so much, that after the war is over, all your vacation plans would be to Ukraine. We will need you to support local businesses, to help rebuild ruined cities, to absorb our rich Ukrainian culture.

Greetings from Kyiv, where I’m having a warcoffee after the workout. Last night russian drones targeted the city: explosions, debris, damage to transport infrastructure, but no casualties were reported.

Deep night in Kyiv. ‘Star Wars’ in the sky – air defence against drones. Victory (still a cat) watches this real-time movie from her windowsill. No, she is not afraid.

I wanted to write how tired I am of the world’s indifference. But then I thought: nonono, it cannot stop me. If the present doesn’t want to listen about Ukraine anymore, maybe the future will. I believe that my letters, my war diary entries, will be an important testimony.

We are all now in a stage of the war that feels the most terrifying to me.
