Tracked this book of cross stitch patterns down on eBay after someone mentioned it on Reddit! I loved the flower fairies as a kid and really enjoyed the exhibition which I went to in Jan, so excited to stitch up something from this over the next couple of years.

The failure to lift the overall benefit cap means that for many of the poorest families (unless already exempt) they will see NO increase to UC as a result of today's announcement regarding the removal of the two child policy. As previously ranted about - probably both here and elsewhere.

My stance on social media is that there are far too many books out there to read for me to be on in it but my stance is also that I'd love to be able to keep writing ones of my own and to one day make a full-time living from it and my current challenge is the fusing of these two belief systems.

It looks like every Irish outlet (that I've seen so far) has just transcribed a wire services report about the Linehan trial that is *dripping* with anti trans bias, misgendering the victim, calling the teenage victim an "activist" but not Linehan, and eliding the fact that the victim was a child

Labour's anti-asylum policies are already fundamentally inhumane and discriminatory. Applying them retrospectively is pure cruelty though. It serves absolutely no purpose. Meanwhile it will increase the costs and bureaucracy of an already dysfunctional Home Office.
