A great example of a legendary scene that was almost entirely saved by the edit. What they shot looked terrible: unconvincing set, hastily constructed from styrofoam; actors who didn’t really know what to do, and who (in the full shot) looked ridiculous. They all thought they’d utterly fucked it.
