With the (very sad) BBC cuts announced today, wonder what is stopping them moving BBC Three and BBC Four online, considering that so much on these channels these days are essentially repeats and few new programmes.

The biggest issue with the timeslot is it being on Sky One with no lead-in show. On a "normal" channel, it'd at least get some established popular programme before it. Sky One doesn't even have any other originals on atm besides the caravan park thing?

I’ve loved space since I was a kid, and that was in large part because my elementary school wheeled TVs into our classrooms so we could watch every NASA launch and landing of the Shuttle–Mir program live. Knowing that a new generation gets to experience the same wonder has me all in my feelings 🥹
