It is really weird to me when people don’t like reading and books. I get not having enough time to read. I get wanting to read more, but there are just too many distractions around you. Obviously, I get having disabilities that make it difficult to read. But just not liking books? Who are you?

I don't think it takes a lot of time or skill to learn how to tell something how to do a thing. I do think it takes a lot of time to be able to evaluate if it is doing it correctly.

So it seems to me that if the world turns to AI, there will be a large number of people who are simply redundant, and the people in high demand will be the ones who actually know what the outcome needs to look like.

One of the things I find fascinating about the "you need to learn to use AI or you'll be left behind" crowd is that everyone I know who has been forced to use it has said that the only way to use it in a way that actually results in time savings is to know the field extremely well.
