I continue to find the "shooting" narrative really odd! Security footage did not seem to show Allen firing shots at all; the gunfire appeared to come from Secret Service. "Attempted attack" would be more accurate, at least until there's more evidence made public.

The thing that keeps coming into my mind about the WHCD incident is that scene in THE HUNGER GAMES where Katniss scandalizes the Capital by throwing a spear into the press box during the scouting session. Look, we're all here to have a good time at The Murder Games but she could've hurt someone!

This move by SCOTUS is deeply insulting. The district court gathered a massive amount of evidence in record time, and District Judge Jeffrey Brown wrote a careful 160-page opinion. Now a majority of justices have dispensed with it without even providing a full written opinion.

Right. Recent Dem WHs have downplayed the risk that POTUS was under after gunmen were stopped/arrested without getting close to him. Trump's campaign and WH have accentuated the risk, portraying him as uniquely endangered (on orders of The Left).
