There are people who want you to validate their conscious decision to be passive when they could help. most insidious (& common) kind of doomer is the 1 who repeats “oh well it can’t be helped.“ Often from a person who could help & chooses not to. We don’t have to validate them, in Hwd or anywhere.

There is a lot of programming that tells us, as individuals & groups, we have no power. That is simply a lie. I watched that lie disintegrate at the very highest levels of the entertainment industry, where people are defended lavishly. And not every time, but many times, the truth & altruism won. 🔥👊🏻

I tell scared sources 2 things: 1 perpetrators’ superpower is they think they are persecuted &that justifies all; 2 superpower of people working to reveal patterns of damage comes primarily from place of altruism, which perpetrators cannot or will not understand thus cannot combat 👊🏻🔥
