To: @governorferguson.bsky.social @atg.wa.gov Would you please see to the removal of any and all official WA accounts (city, state, federal) from X and have them transitioned to BlueSky? Leave placeholders there if you must, but do not put your offices at risk on the CSAM site.

Yeah, there MIGHT be statutory requirements about posting on public sites. But at the VERY least, NO PUBLIC SCHOOL should be posting on X, the CSAM creation and distribution site. If your school is on X, please consider telling them to delete their accounts.

I can see an argument for why it would be hard for the official city accounts to abandon Twitter entirely, but at a minimum, @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social could ensure that every official city account (there are a lot!) is using Bluesky and posts everything to both accounts

Honestly confused whenever I see any official institution continue to use X. Twitter is dead, its corpse is being used for legitimately evil purposes, get off X.

My county's public school system stopped posting on X almost a year ago, making Bluesky its "primary platform for updates." I have yet to see any negative consequences from that choice; I am sure that whoever runs @apsva.us appreciates not getting yelled at quite so often by random online bigots.

This should be a priority for the Office of Mass Engagement. And @thecity.nyc and @hellgatenyc.com and @gothamist.com should be asking why OME is still on the child abuse site.
