Officialdom and their ethnicity questionnaires - after approx 10 mins on the phone with an official personage, I was asked for my ethnic identity. As soon as I said 'British Iranian' they asked if I could speak English. Hello, what language have I just been talking to you in for the last 10 mins?😳
