I've been thinking about how when people make nazi comparisons, people rightfully bring up the jim crow era and other elements from our own history. While this moment has plenty to predict it, many goons and regime leaders regard THEMSELVES as nazis which I think is worth paying attention to.

I'll also add, if you can't protest for whatever reason, replying to people on the ground at protest sharing content with alt-text and captions can be a good way to participate. I'm very pro team alt-text, but also have sympathy for how hard it can be to type in the cold for people on the streets.

A reminder today and every day that if someone posts about politics like they're being paid to -- especially if they post like they're being paid to entrap you into saying something illegal -- block them. Either they're being paid to entrap you or they're too stupid to know how to get paid for it.

Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.
