Cassie missed me this week working in the office, as she decided to sleep in my room last night, which was fine until the woke up at dawn and decided to make it my problem.

I'm still not entirely convinced that Janey fully grasps the anatomy of Big Friend, but she's sat on my lap or on the sofa next to me more in the last week than she did in the whole previous year. It's like a switch flipped. Or possibly she's just discovered that lap is warm.

I am so entirely done with this week. It hasn't even been the worst week I've had this year, in fact, it's been quite good in several ways, but I am done. Not helped by not getting more than 6.25 hours sleep any night this week. But my neck and shoulders are a ball of tension and pain.

I've got a pretty strong stomach for watching disgusting things whilst eating. I can watch Silent Witness with dinner no problem. All bar one episode of Hannibal. Today I made the mistake of trying to watch Trainspotting during dinner. The worst toilet in Scotland defeated me.
