The most stressed out I've ever been about Christmas was when I was 16 and I got my first ever job, working at M&S in Dundrum. As soon as I started I kept hearing these myths about the Christmas Eve Waste Sale, where all the food that wasn't sold on the 24th was marked down 90%.

Two types of clothing at this opening ceremony: 1) We had a designer painstakingly create this over a period of months, based on a very particular idea 2) We bought a coat

I'll believe this is a true celebration of Italian culture when there's a dance routine based around old retired men silently observing roadwork construction with their hands behind their backs.

This is an incredible Graham Norton line-up but I especially loved that Cillian Murphy & Domhnall Gleeson give off the vibe of two members the groom's football team at a wedding that have been intentionally seated apart from one by the bride.

Thinking about Big Bertha, the world's oldest cow from County Kerry, who died just before her 49th birthday after calving 39 times over her life (another record) - she also raised thousands for charity, lead the St. Patrick's parade in Sneem, and had her birthday and wake in a local pub

‘The show delivers fulsomely, and it probably delivers even more if you’re not watching through the same lens as me (completely freaking out that if they mess this up, then I can kiss The Muppet Show goodbye for another 45 years).’ They let me review the new Muppets Show special-slash-pilot.

Yes, the message is the most important part here. Still, this is like seeing a shelter dog come alive and run free during a park visit before having to go back to their sad shelter cage (doing Magneto and Gandalf cameos)

This is superb. Ian McKellen delivers a blistering pro-immigration monologue written by Shakespeare, that makes you want to punch the air with exhilaration. Wow, wow, wow. An absolute must-watch. (Starts at 20:10 but the entire interview is a joy.)

It would be nice if Bluesky had an (optional) city/country tag in people's profile so I can tell at a glance if the person mad at me in my comments is from the US or not and therefore can be ignored.
