The most stressed out I've ever been about Christmas was when I was 16 and I got my first ever job, working at M&S in Dundrum. As soon as I started I kept hearing these myths about the Christmas Eve Waste Sale, where all the food that wasn't sold on the 24th was marked down 90%.

There's a new Predator movie out so it's as good a time as any to say that, if I was given the opportunity to add an addition to any franchise, I'd have the Predator land in Glasgow in the 80s during an Old Firm fixture.

Partner recently realized that she wasn't getting enough fibre and changed her diet accordingly. Fun fact, it turns out I wasn't getting enough fibre. I feel incredible. I could fight God.

I'm going to try to speak this into existence because I saw a clip from The Harder They Fall this morning. I like a gritty, realistic western as much as the next guy but I yearn, *crave* a new big spectacle western like The Quick and the Dead.

Can't wait for Dems to take all the wrong lessons from the Mamdani win. Somewhere Nancy Pelosi is being horrifically mauled because she approached a bodega cat with sin in her heart.

The main lesson to be taken from Mamdani's victory is that politics needs more aloof spouses. Perhaps wandering from room to room, their expressions completely opaque.

A great day for the golden rule of political analysis: when the right wins it is a resounding ideological victory that humiliates the left and when the left wins it is a precarious fluke that will surely end up humiliating the left. Conservatives are power’s landlords and the left merely tenants

Writing a book at the same time as I'm planning a wedding and also doing my day job was a great idea. I'm definitely not in danger of sending my groom speech out for copy edits, submitting my novel's first draft to my line manager and reading my End of Year review at the pre-dinner speeches.

Their Facebook page says that the Taoiseach’s officials promised them a mediation meeting on Monday. It has now been postponed to Wednesday. They have now been on hunger strike for over 40 days. This is an appalling way to treat people.

Happy to say that I've reached an age where I can go on Instagram and not feel inadequate in the face of gym bro and athlete videos. However, now I go on Instagram and feel inadequate when I watch videos of people who can do DIY projects and home maintenance effectively.

Simon Harris is a coward and a bully who would rather scapegoat innocent communities of vulnerable people rather than face up to the failures of either his government or himself as a leader, a Cabinet minister and a human being. Couldn't think less of him and have no problem saying it.

If a PBP TD said that there were too many foxhunters in Ireland and then there was a arson attack on a hunting lodge that night, you can be damn sure that Simon Harris could join the dots. He really should resign.

Any time one of the far right ghouls sticks their head above the parapet in the next few weeks, they should be asked whether they condemn the attempted murder of children by arson.
