There is a lot of rising antisemitism in the US, as even left-wing Jews will tell you, and a lot of people who should be concerned with fighting it are conflating it with legitimate criticism of Israel in ways that give others an excuse to dismiss it entirely, and basically everything is terrible.

This "New York Times" op-ed on antisemitism on the left does itself no favors by comparing Hasan Piker saying Orthodox Jews are "inbred" - legitimate, indefensible antisemitism - with calling Israel a "fascist settler colonial apartheid state," which is legitimate if heated political debate.
