Ellis attacks the characterization of rapid responders as "agitators": "Describing rapid response networks - neighborhood moms - as professional agitators shows just how out of touch these agents are," Ellis says.

i'll be on @wbez.org this morning at 9am going over yesterday's daycare detainment, the impending court decision on feds' use of crowd weapons (and the Broadview TRO), a judge ruling against the Trump admin’s conditions for transportation funds and a new suit over loan relief for public servants.

as a parent of a kid who was born in 2020, I can’t stop thinking of every single professional who has helped to take care of him, especially starting in 2021 when these people changed their lives outside of work to help care for and keep our kids safe. It’s just a lot to continue to take in.

I saw part of the daycare video and I was physically overcome. This is unconscionable, it is evil, it is grotesque. There is no possible justification.

Yesterday, it was delivery app drivers in grocery store parking lots. I've seen the daycare video from today and I wish I hadn't. It is unsustainable for all of us to live like this and it is unconscionable actually that are leaders in Illinois are not making a scene about this every day?

this morning, ICE went into a Spanish language immersion daycare and took a teacher from the building in front of screaming and crying kids and parents at dropoff and the daycare had to shut down for the day (near Lane Tech, where they were yesterday). Really hoping today's "theme" is not "daycare."
