Halsted/Armitage is home to a new on-street Divvy station. No sidewalk space needed. So stoked about this location at the intersection of two bus lines and important bike corridors!

This week, Divvy has been upgrading older “lightweight” stations (blue bike racks) into full-service bikeshare stations with docks and kiosks. Recent upgrades include: 🆕Lincoln Ave & Balmoral Ave 🆕Rockwell St & Cermak Rd 🆕Western Ave & Berteau Ave 🆕Western Ave & Gunnison St

September was a huge month for Chicago's Divvy bikeshare system! A few highlights & pics of some great new stations: ✅ Installed 28 new docking stations across the city ✅ 900,000 total rides, shattering September records ✅ 475,000 ride taken on e-bikes

Another new Divvy station is live in River North at Rush & Illinois! This was the 28th station installed in September. It takes up no parking, no sidewalk space, and will help keep the public way uniform and clear from devices. Divvy is rapidly expanding and ridership is booming!

A new Divvy station was just installed at Paulina & Cortland in Bucktown! The system has already surpassed 5,000,000 rides this year and continues to boom.

A lot of new bike racks were just installed as part of the complete streets upgrades along Milwaukee Ave. CDOT has been churning out bike parking as part of its resurfacing program. Bump-outs & raised concrete medians are great locations for bike parking!
