It's adorable that this has been a forum for folk to share their last-liked trainings, but also try to sit with the intent that speaking on diversity training specifically as being annoying says more about your prejudice and racism than an overall dislike of having to spend time training.

It's really the mentality that all things belong to white people and anyone else having anything is "stealing it". It assumes the natural state of things is segregation logic of "Whites Only" workplaces, schools, housing, etc. and there must be exceptional reasons to violate it. 😩

I’m going to lift this up because this is the long and short of it. They don’t consider the idea that Black people must work too and should have a safe environment to do so, no we’re only there as a plot against them and the trainings are regarded as a humiliation.

I think framing the idea of diversity as a corporate intervention or co-opted campaign and not protections for workers from marginalized communities is absolutely by design and it’s odd to me so many people who are supposedly in support of the working class have adopted this framing.
