Hanging out, showboating.
I’d be more sympathetic to the idea denouncing this is meaningless and performative if I had any faith people were committed to substantively addressing the thinking that foments it.

Cops were frequently getting caught planting drugs in 2017 because body cameras were new and many of them didn't understand how the technology worked. When cops hit "record" it saved the 30 seconds from *before* they hit the button. Eventually, they figured it out.

What a game by the Longhorns. Taking down #5 LSU in a revenge game. Beat #11 Oklahoma last weekend. Next will host #16 Kentucky, then go to #7 Vanderbilt and #19 Tennessee. Playing women's ball in the SEC is no joke!!

I think over the past decade of so, there has been more institutional support for individual Black or POC people who would explain these ecosystems to yt ppl, then there has been for the ecosystems themselves. Even when the elected Nego Whisperer came from said ecosystems.

This was important context because she said that was the year of the Wubble. And this young woman, y'all, Y'ALL, she has no memory of a time when the WNBA wasn't a big deal!! She asked Dr. Cox & Imani McGee-Stafford, who was on the panel, if they saw the current boom coming. But the set up was A+.

As a person who is pretty willing to speak about the gendered violence and harassment I have faced in the workplace, you know what I get out of it? Random people tell me that they hope their nieces and daughters grow up like me, "minus the domestic violence." So glad I could be of service??

At its worst, corporate diversity training is exactly that: annoying. Its annoying to have to have a skillsoft course running in the background for an hour, a course that says nothing but "DON'T BE AN ASSHOLE", when you have real work to do. But to get angry over it? Truly pissed off? Thats the tell

Exactly! Which is why it’s much more preferable to let HR handle all that so we can actually just go to work like everybody tf else.

There were a couple meetings I had to go to and some mandatory training. In the big scheme of things it was like 2-3 hours per years. The way you hear folks talk about this, DEI training was like 30% of the time at work.
