We went to the forest today and there was a baby black cockatoo yelling at its parents to feed it the grubs that they were digging out of the trees. We could hear the wood squeaking as they tore into it. Great stuff

To support my contention that the initial video was the coyote and badger going home together, this video is from hours earlier, showing the two walking over to this side together, the badger arriving first and waiting for the coyote, the exact inverse of what happens when they're going home later.

The earliest written account I know of is Samuel Aughey's 'Curious companionship of the coyote and the badger' in The American Naturalist in 1884, but Native American folklore explicitly talked about them hunting together and obviously derived from far earlier observation.
