Just realized most people don't know what Trek in the Park was! It was a group of theater and Star Trek nerds who did live action performances of 5 TOS episodes, literally in the park! They used sparse sets, home made costumes, and lots of love. They were brilliant and wonderful.

My main advice I give to ppl who want to write comics: 1: Study screenwriting and filmmaking. Learn camera language, the 180 degree rule, when to use types of shots for diff emotional beats, etc 2: Study storyboarding, especially how to compose & stage a scene. 3: Read so. many. comics.
