I had a(nother) conversation recently with a woman who told me she had given up the dream of 'being a writer'... but I could tell she hadn't. Not really. So how do you keep writing in your life when "the dream" seems impossible? I have some thoughts:

A writer is a person who cares what words mean, what they say, how they say it. Writers know words are their way towards truth and freedom, and so they use them with care, with thought, with fear, with delight. By using words well they strengthen their souls.

I loved this program. Focus, instruction, and a great peer group, all led by a generous and gifted (and award-winning) writer. Recommended.

In the troughs between the passionate peaks, it's the habit that keeps you going.
