It's only taken 15 years and 3 months, but we're getting new and improved wifi service at work! (I've been here 15 years and 3 months, give or take, and I have been passing along complaints about the wifi from customers every day of my time here. We have so many dead spots, you just don't know).

I feel bad for the owner of the turnip truck from whose back Ezra Klein just fell. He somehow believes that a notional "pro-life Democrat" running in Kansas will be onboard with all the other things that leftist Democrats want to do. You know, just like Joe Manchin voted blue every time.

Of course, the one piece of advice I wish I'd been given in my twenties (which was 1986-1995)--"stop renting a.s.a.p. Get out of apartments. Buy a house and build equity"--is no longer a piece of advice, it's a fantasy. I honestly have no idea how under-30s manage to buy houses these days.

I'm hesitant to give advice to under-30s because my life was a mess for most of my twenties and any advice I might have gotten was impossible to follow. But...if you can manage these, which many can't, I know: - set aside $50-$100 a month, every month. - turn off the tv & work on your art.
