A true warrior is not too proud to express gratitude. Indeed, acknowledging when you have been helped, when others have shared with you, is essential to an honorable life. I am grateful to have spent another day with you, those who make my days lighter and more hopeful. Thank you.

Should you refuse to show compassion because you believe it would make you appear weak, then you have misunderstood what strength is. It is honorable to have concern for others, to show empathy and to offer aid to someone in distress. To rebuke this is cowardice, not strength.

Some say it is best to live without regrets, but sometimes regrets are necessary to uncover honor within yourself. We learn kindness from the example of others, but also from reflecting on times when we were unkind, regretting those moments, and vowing to do better.

Recall a time when someone came to your aid, stood up for you, showed you an unexpected kindness. Hold on to those memories, for they are dear. Strive every day to make someone else feel the way you did in that moment.

Wielding power over the powerless is the mark of the bully. Wielding strength against the weak is cowardice. Real strength is when you have such power, but choose to use it in defence of the vulnerable instead. That is the mark of the true warrior.

Your enemies are counting on you to lose hope. Despair is one of their greatest weapons, for it leads you to stop fighting for yourself. Hold on to hope, no matter how hard it is, and refuse to join your enemy in bringing you down.

It is said that you must pick your battles, but often they are picked for you. You should not give in just because you did not choose the fight. No, you must respond with all your determination and ferocity, and show your enemy they picked the wrong battle, with the wrong warrior.

Kahless tells us time is the one enemy no warrior can defeat. In the end, it is how you spent your that time matters most. Spend it being honorable, strong, and kind. Do this and time will not be your enemy, but your gift to those who will be glad to have known you.

Many think kindness and humility are signs of weakness. They are wrong. True warriors know that to help others and to ask for nothing in return are the mightiest acts of honor. Cruelty is for the weak. Offer help, show kindness freely, for tomorrow it could be you who requires aid.

Kahless tells us that to face a new day, not knowing what challenges it may bring, is a fresh act of courage each morning. Arise tomorrow and raise your voice, tell the world a warrior has awoken, a true warrior who will bring this day honor and glory!

In dark times it is easy to become overwhelmed, to feel helpless. That is what your enemies want. Defy them. Deny them this, and let that be your first step toward denying them victory, and then seizing it yourself.

To derive pleasure from hatred is to revel in dishonor. A true warrior knows that hate is a source of misery, not of glee. Resist those who take delight in harming others, know hate when you see it, and may you forever feel the righteous joy of standing against it.

If you wait for the right time to do something difficult, you may be waiting forever. Worse, you may deceive yourself with excuses to wait. Avoid being reckless, but do not wait for another day when today is waiting for you.

It is often said that you should choose your friends wisely, and that is true. A true warrior knows that the reverse is true, too. Your friends have also chosen you. Strive always to live honorably and prove they chose wisely.

Bravery is not the opposite of fear. It is pushing through and doing something despite the fear. We have all done this, perhaps often, but never recognized it as bravery. Know that you are brave, know that you can overcome your fear. Know that you have done it before, and you will do it again.

The brighter a solitary light shines, the starker the shadow it casts. Encourage the light you see in others, to join your own, and watch the shadows retreat from your radiant glory.

A lone voice speaking truth may be drowned by a cacophonous enemy. But when true warriors stand together, add their voices to a chorus, the words gain the power to sweep away any perfidious clamor. Today of all days, add your voice, warriors, and sing for what's right.

Allow yourself to celebrate even the smallest of victories in the face of adversity. Don't snuff out a light because it is not bright enough. Nurture it, and fight to make it grow until the shadows retreat. Even the greatest beacons may be lit with the smallest spark.

It is said that nothing lasts forever, and often that is cause for sorrow and regret. But take heart, for it also applies to the reign of despots, to tyranny. They too cannot last forever, so let us usher in their end, let us outlast them.

Even in your darkest moments, I see your light, your worth. A true warrior does not give up, least of all on themselves.

Your enemies will tell you there is no point in fighting back. They tell you this to break your morale, but in so doing, they tell on themselves. They fear being stood up to, or else they would not work so hard to downplay it. If someone says fighting back doesn't matter, make it matter.

You are worthy of respect, of friendship, of love. Sometimes you may need to work harder to bring it forth, but never doubt that it is within you.

When we live through difficult times it can be easy to succumb to despair, to see nothing but darkness on the horizon. But one day, in happier times, songs will be sung of those who persevered. Strive to be sung about as one who brought hope, as one who carried light over that horizon.

Do not judge your life by what you can afford, or worse, what you can't afford. An honorable life does not come with a price tag.

These hurtful, threatening times fill me with sadness and anger. But I will not let my anger make me cruel or unfeeling, especially towards those I hold dear. Our enemies have not earned our kindness, but nor have they earned the right to strip us of ours.

A bully believes that kindness is weakness. A fool believes that bullying is strength. A true warrior knows that a bully is weak, and that compassion and kindness are strengths they could never comprehend.

Don't go into tomorrow worried about how you are going to cope with it. Go into it knowing that you will cope with it, come what may. Knowing that you are a warrior, that you are worthy, come what may.

The enemy of my enemy is not always my friend. Such may be an ally for a time, but friendship requires that someone stands with me against my enemies not because of who my enemy is, but because of who I am. Be worthy of such friends.

Sometimes we learn lessons the hard way. After all, no one respects the flame quite like the fool who's badly burned. But a true warrior shares their hard-won wisdom, so that those who come after need not suffer for that knowledge.

Cynicism is often the easiest position we can take, surrendering before even putting up a fight. Empathy and hope, a hunger for something better, are worthier paths. After all, it takes courage to strive for better days, to right what's wrong, to seek the sun even through the darkest of clouds.

Sometimes doing the right thing means accepting that you are in the wrong. Stubbornness and persistence can be great assets, but not when they lock you on a path that leads you in the wrong direction.
