What a fitting end to an absolutely wild season for York City. For 94 minutes, 0-0 gets us promoted. So we let Rochdale score in the 95th. And then. AND THEN. After the pitch invasion, Josh Stones becomes a YCFC legend in the 103rd minute. He scored because this York team ALWAYS score. Just wow.

Parkrun is designed to be non-competitive, so there isn't even a bad case that including trans people is unfair. It has no changing rooms so there's not a disingenuous argument about "spaces" to be had either. This has always only been about trying to make trans people unhappy and unwelcome.

So last Saturday, the guy sat behind me at the football perfectly summed up the stress of watching the beautiful game: Your team score first. It’s 1-0, but that’s not great. Finally got to see Project Hail Mary! And in IMAX too, which was nice. That was excellent. A perfect 5/7 score from me. Was a bit uncertain about Gosling in the lead, thought he absolutely nailed it. It definitely took some shortcuts with the book; all fine IMO, helped fit it into a single film.
