Stewart Lee was brilliant tonight: "If you're unsure of which toilets you can use feel free to shit in a bag and mail it to Graham Linehan, he sorts through them by hand"

Old housemates, old school friends, family members, - they even asked a local launderette for an itinerary of what I've had washed! All this from billionaire owned media because they don't want a party to continue growing that challenges power & wealth.

This is not the prime timeline! I'm obviously in a coma and this is some dream caused by reading too many 2000ADs 20 odd years ago.

According to “Quantum Leap” rules, Sam Beckett was only able to time travel within his own lifetime, so yeah, if it ever feels like things just started getting worse and worse a few years ago, it’s probably because that’s when he died.

Apparently it was today 25 years ago when the ‘Pine Barrens’ episode of ‘The Sopranos’ first aired. It was a classic. Packed with everything, including some of the best comedic serious dialogue you’ll ever enjoy.

A little historical note on that: colorization was never actually the point. 🧵 I was in post production at Lorimar in the late eighties while the colorization was going on. I had a good friend who was involved in doing the restoration work prior to colorization.

"I present you the Soviet Ballistic Missile Submarine Red October" - A line from a superb movie. In reality the CIA knew far more about the Soviet TYPHOON class from the mid 1970s than Clancy could have guessed. Thread on the CIA, Typhoons and spying on the Soviets...

Would anyone like a ticket to Christy Moore in Vicar Street tonight? I can't go because I have broken my arm and am pretty much housebound. My husband isn't that into Christy. I would hate for this ticket to go to waste, so please reply if you are interested. I have also advertised it on Facebook.
