This is a great thread, but it’s only a curveball if you’ve never encountered a man like Platner before. This kind of stuff all coming out, given what we already knew about him, was sadly inevitable.

The quote Marisa pulls out is the most damning one: this dude says he'd rather quit writing than stop using AI. I don't know a single professional writer who'd say that, but my circle is about 95% fiction writers. I wonder if this "tool" has already broken the brains of this dude's colleagues.
