Somehow, in all the insanity, people often lose sight of the fact that Donald Trump is just one of the dumbest human beings who ever walked the earth. (Don't get me started on what it takes to lose to this schlemiel, but seriously - fuck those people)

As I heat up my dinner of Kraft Mac & Cheese and saltines because it's the end of the month and we can't even pay our electricity bill, I like to think of the people who accuse me of being a corporate shill and I just laugh and laugh. It's good to laugh.

Going to do a short thread of some critics and writers that I love and hope you'll give a look at. First, Walter Chaw (
@mangiotto.bsky.social
) is a film critic whose work I hold in especially high regard. He just has such an excellent way with words — always able to paint a picture of his focus.

Put together some thoughts here. In an earlier time he would have been the kind of writer being paid $5 a word by magazines to go write about whatever he pleased. And no one would be pissed off or jealous about it either.

I had the kind of meeting today that has the potential to be a milestone in my life. It has the potential to be nothing, too, as most things that seem promising tend to be, but hope is lovely when it's new.

This is also the reason why blue check right-wingers on X spend so much energy spitting venom at BlueSky & its users... The truth is, their power depends on people believing they have no where else to go... Give them good options! Do it right and a shit-ton of people will move & support you!

Amigos, there are over 1200 names on this list, not 12 and while I agree that the recognizable names are loser has-beens, there are many powerful gatekeepers and representatives on it. Hollywood is Zionist headquarters and behind the scenes a small group is fighting them (and getting blacklisted)

Lots of odd thematic convergences between DEAD OF WINTER (2025) and BEAST OF WAR (2025). It'll take a little unpacking, but there's something in the idea of submersion and sacrifice in the despair of the common air we breathe right now. Of dealing with the past as a means of dealing with the future.

's ADULTHOOD and it's fucking fantastic. Funny and fleet, with a streak of melancholia that I found to be lovely and true. Life as a series of damnedest things, just one after another, and the ties that bind us.

Went to a family-owned, cafeteria-style restaurant today in Greer, SC, Laurenda's Family Restaurant on S. Line? The hospitality? The fucking kindness towards me and every single one of their guests? Every second felt like a warm, genuine hug and I sat at the table with my wife and wept. People, man.
