Somebody copied the last post in the CMS and forgot to change the URL so the CMS just put a 2 at the end. The symbolism of that sure is something!

SoftBankβs investor presentation is one of the greatest things ever made. Iβve been thinking about it all day. These are the real slides shown in a speech where Masayoshi Son said he wouldnβt retire for at least another decade. The goose stuff is truly demented. Bravo

When reality surpasses fiction! Top: fictional forecast for August 2050, broadcast by French TV in 2014 to warn about the consequences of global warming. Bottom: Real French forecast for yesterday, June 22, 2026.

The most dangerous thing about AI is not that the machines might one day think. It is that we are being trained, by men with enormous financial gains riding on our acquiescence, to stop thinking for ourselves.

remember how the initial universal wisdom regarding the internet was never give your real name or any personal information online and then advertisers realized they could make lots and lots of money with your information and now basic opsec online is seen as sinister

Did a dumb American exec misunderstand what Tank meant? Nope! Starbucks Korea is owned by a Korean billionaire who supports the old regime. Every new tumbler is 503 ml. Random size, eh? A right wing talking point is that "activists" are exaggerating and "only 503 people" were killed on 5/18.

Amazing story about how Starbucks launched a "Tank" marketing campaign in South Korea on the anniversary of a massacre by the military.... including a slogan referencing the beating to death of a student. AI did it. Emails were signed off unread by managers

I don't use AI in my personal or professional writing, and will never, so some dipshit saying that actually everyone uses it is untrue in the same way that saying that nobody washes their hands after using the bathroom is untrue -- a lie to excuse a repulsive personal failing.

Paying a subscription to use Meta products is patently absurd for the average user. Which Meta obviously knows. From a content perspective, they offer nothing that's worth paying for. These are predatory subscriptions plans clearly aimed at businesses that are dependent on these platforms.

As Jabba the Hutt's son I'm often gatekept from progressive spaces due to preconceived notions about my family. At the same time, I acknowledge the reasonable concerns my presence would raise, and I'm working every day to unlearn the harmful attitudes instilled in me on my father's pleasure barge.
