Apparently Zizek has a new podcast, "Liberal Fascisms." I expect his Great Insight is that "liberalism is the real fascism" — ie, Jonah Goldberg's Liberal Fascism, translated into Hegelese. Where dialectics is a fancy name for bombastic, fascist-adjacent contrarianism.

This should be a moment that reminds every citizen of the gulf how disposable we are, how all our attempts at buying our way into power mean nothing in the face of a system that treats your skin like money or fuel… but unfortunately it wont!
