Pretty unfortunate news to hear about Gundam X's writer Hiroyuki Kawasaki's passing today. He also wrote Godannar, J-Decker, Goldran, The Irresponsible Captain Tylor, and eps of Nadesico, El Cazador, Eureka Seven AO, and the Halo Legends short Homecoming. Passed away back on the 23rd of January.
