A Japanese developer has created a Chrome extension called Cat Gatekeeper that superimposes a big Ginger/Orange cat on your screen if you send too much time on social media. I have a real one that does that, and he doesn't limit it to social media. Buzz has interrupted client calls before now.

Spent all day today troubleshooting a MicroVAX disk drive. Eight hours later it finally reads disks on an IBM PC. Thanks to everyone who helped me figure out what the heck I was dealing with.

Given how large the retro tech community is nowadays, why don't we have an up-to-date gcc compiler for 16-bit x86? Mainstream GCC has never supported 16-bit code on x86 yet it supports the pdp-11?
