Update: I've added a lengthy endnote not just quipping that I think it sounds better to say Netfluctuation than Netflixification, but also explaining that it is a less specific, less social and therefore less subcultural way of consuming anime than earlier generations.

I know most people don't care but i want to reiterate how much footnotes/endnotes are my thing. The best written books have a hundred pages of auto-commentary and citation, and while I don't plan to be the best-written, very useful to both preserve the main text and provide optional context notes
