If I were more expressive I would've shouted, "WHAT THE F***?!?!?!" in the theater when they took him out. I don't like villains but they're important to the narrative and he was clearly the 'new Darth'. One of the dumbest decisions in cinematic history. Right up there with creating Jar Jar Binks.
