I've been diving into Uganda's Soft Ground Wrestling promotion this week and it's a whole fuckin' roller coaster. Sure, they're a plucky backyard fed, but you know what else they are? An orphanage. Seriously. Anyway, this ridiculous match is fucking great, it's insane, what a crowd.

Throwback episode of Just One More Thing, a podcast about Columbo, is the patently misguided A Case of Immunity, an episode I think we ended up all agreeing was "one of the episodes of Columbo." Also, talking about Sal Mineo made us depressed. You know what? You have my permission to skip this one.

James Corden returning to tv feels like a terrible portent.

Today on the blog, the second installment of the World's Greatest Superheroes newspaper strip. The deadly Dr. Destiny complicates plans to save the life of the badly-injured Barry (The Flash) Allen! Also Superman shaves the Flash's head while the speedster is unconscious and it feels like a prank.

Found some old sketches where I posited Bronze Age DC Comics superhero Firestorm the Nuclear Man (as Volcanohead the Magical Teen) through an Odd Couple lens where teen hero Ronnie Raymond is Felix Unger and his mentor Professor Martin Stein was the immaterial Oscar Madison of his mind.

This is one of eight original Gordos I own, I gotta get around to getting 'em scanned.

Just got back into pro wrestling last year and my one biggest takeaway is that if you had given me infinite numbers of guesses as to which AEW wrestler was Taz's kid, I'd still be picking names.

I've been watching Soft Ground Wrestling out of Uganda and looking for a good match to share. This is a squash match with their job squad, The Stooges, taking on this enormous beast, Jallah Trophy, and setting up a big match at Mudrumble. It's got real charm, and they take it seriously. It's fun!

Mike Hawthorne is a wonderful guy and one of my favorite cartoonists. If you're into superheroes and Mike isn't on your top ten list of best working artists, then I don't know what the fuck you're looking for, pardon my french. In this post, he draws eight thousand windows, because he's OG.

Boy, does this episode hit. This week's throwback episode of our old Columbo podcast, Just One More Thing, is Forgotten Lady, with Janet Leigh in an absolutely heartbreaking role. One of the best episodes, absolutely gutting.
