I usually try to explain it like this: picture JB Pritzker as Ed Balls. Now imagine they're Latvian. Doesn't look so much like the Erfurt latrine disaster was caused by uncles having their penises pinched by a crab now, does it?

man, this is such a bad asymmetry. eventually Ds are going to get so black-pilled by the double-standard that they give up the standard entirely (cough maine cough). and frankly i'd understand the impulse. media is allowing this to happen - facilitating it, in fact.

anyone who doesn't understand the value of middle management has never actually been a manager. the problem with these VC bozos is that they didn't work their way up the ladder, they got someone to throw them a bunch of money to go straight to CEO and they have no clue how an organization works.

It's not just that OrbΓ‘n losing inspires hope in other competitive-autocratic countries ruled by right-wing nationalist authoritarians. It's that his loss materially changes things in those other countries, because he's been operating as a headquarters and funding source...

The latest numbers from Hungary have the PΓ©ter Magyar-led opposition party Tisza winning 138 seats, well over the 2/3 threshold (133 seats) required for passing constitutional reforms. (Viktor OrbΓ‘n and his party, Fidesz, with the allied KDNP, abused this power to remake Hungary since 2010.)
