NO! the Utah Data Center will not be the size of Manhattan. The entire site of 40,000 acres may be, but 1 sq mile is 640 acres 40,000 Acres = 62 sq miles 1 sq mile = 28 million sq ft a 1GW data center needs a 200,000 sq ft bldg 9GW (proposed Utah) needs <2 mil sq ft 2mil sq ft = 7% of 1 sq mile.

People, I'm not for this, but common sense. 1 sq mile is 28 million sq ft. It would cost $28 billion and take 110,000 man years to build, or 10,000 men 11 yrs. Now x60 . It would take 100,000 men 66 yrs to build 60 sq mile facility. Cost $1.6 trillion. Maybe 60sq mi is the size of the whole site.
