What's really going on here is twofold. First, the anti-trans "reporters" on this issue do not know their own beat. As I've said before, the anti-trans argument is a conspiracy theory. It posits that the medical field is handing out surgeries to kids at the slightest hint of gender nonconformity.

Its impossible to tell from this whether they think extra doctors are some sort of treat for the other doctors rather than something that the rest of the population might be a bit keen on or if this is just a resounding fuck you to an ungrateful populace. But it's definitely at least one of them.
