Hats off to lead author Tony Lim who drove this project from writing the fellowship application, to establishing new techniques in the lab. We developed a reversible self-amplifying RNA (saRNA) system that encodes innate immune suppression directly within saRNA. Next step, in vivo!

In our latest preprint on bioRxiv, we present the in situ structure of the human gap junction at 14 Å resolution using cryo-ET. The structure provides a blueprint for investigating how connexin regulation shapes intercellular communication in health and disease.
