The first epidemic of the 1918 flu in the United States occurred at the military’s Camp Funston, Kansas (later Fort Riley). Infected soldiers headed to WWI battlefields carried the flu to Europe. Millions died It’s not *vaccination* that weakens force readiness.

We’ve now reached the part of the referendum where everyone lines up, mutters “goodgamegoodgamegoodgamegoodgame“ a bunch of times with a series of low fives - the winning Yes side slightly more enthusiastic about it- and then they bring out baggies of oranges and Capri Suns for the campaign workers.

I do not believe so. That being said, this is a dipshit move. My boat was once damm near sidelined by a flu-like that swept through the crew. That was not fun. Serious illnesses and nuclear submarines are not a tasty mix.

heat shields are a vital part of atmospheric entry. spacecrafts typically travel between 17,000 and 25,000+ mph. while this is no issue in the vacuum of space, entering a planet's atmosphere at those speeds will cause the craft to experience atmospheric drag and become enveloped in a ball of plasma.

Down to the last $1000 to raise! Help me close it out today and get this money over to the families—they are mindblown that this came together so fast. Maybe this is a new kind of mutual aid…mutually beneficial projects. We get to help two families for the price of one!

I really hope that every outlet that praises ‘Michael’ as some kind of achievement (you know which ones I’m talking about) are forced to disclose this to their readers. This is a movie that WANTED to lie to us, and the only reason it couldn’t was due to one (1) savvy lawyer.

I feel like not enough reviewers know they had to remake the entire final third of the Michael Jackson movie because it falsely exonerated him, and it turned out the kid’s lawyer foresaw that shit in the 1990s and made sure to include a clause that the estate could never ever do that on film.

If I were in charge, I would seek ways to make these easier to build. I don't know all the barriers to establishing diverter programs, whether it's *all* political, or if it involves traffic engineering reqs (I suspect the latter), but it warrants solving.
