It’s already happening. Iran attacked a desalination plant in Bahrain. This war has to end immediately. If it turns into a water war we will be dealing with a whole different level of a humanitarian catastrophe across the region.

Very sad to say it seems Mike Fossey, aka Mike F. has died. Truly one of the funniest posters of all time and a talented artisan. Had been friends online for many years, but I got to hang out a couple times at shows in Boston and he was funny and sweet in real life too.

given how common the "you're the sole survivor of a spaceship crash on a hostile planet" story is in factory games, someone should make a reverse-factory game where you play as an alien tracking down and destroying colonizers who fall out of the sky and try to turn your planet into green tech cards

This is why we all need to put some distance between ourselves and the US and develop some psychological resilience. The closer your cultural/social/economic/security etc links are to the US, the more vulnerable you are to being sucked into the vortex of anger and violence.

The magic of Bluesky is that if a bunch of the people you’re following are saying stuff you find repulsive you can just unfollow and block and never hear from them again. Now if you’re seeing stuff you hate because you’re specifically searching for it, well, that’s not the platform’s problem

Agreed with the Cooler Heads here. This act of political violence may one day soon serve as pretext to justify federal occupation of progressive cities or even unaccountable militias imprisoning people of color without due process at impenetrable, inhumane black sites. Well, I sure hope not!
