I will only say this: the restraint the good people of the Minneapolis area are showing right now, at this very moment, is heroic and very very admirable

Yes, JD. Let’s ask them if they think a stay at home mom, avowed Christian, and widow of a veteran deserved to be shot in the face and left to bleed out in her own car after dropping her 6-year-old off at school, for the crime of looking out for her neighbors. Let’s ask everyone running for office.

A 6-year-old just lost his mother. A woman was shot in the face in front of her wife. The swift, lockstep attempt to dehumanize and villainize Renee Nicole Good might be the most depraved thing we've seen yet from these ghouls and their supporters. These people are utterly fucking dead inside.

It’s genuinely wild that the United States spent decades building an elaborate rules-based international order which de facto cemented its permanent status as the dominant global hegemon, sustained by ideology rather than might, and now is just blowing it all up for literally no reason

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has stated that the 1918 flu pandemic was caused by a lab virus from vaccine research, a defective influenza vaccine. Let’s analyze what a lie this is. First, in 1918, 107 years ago, virology was in its infancy

People are rightly disgusted by this speech, but it’s a measure of fascism’s normalization that many see this as more of the awful same rather than what I think most of us who’ve been reporting this beat hear it as: a significant calculated escalation. Full alert stuff.

As I have been lamenting for years, the clear erroneous standard for District Court findings of fact has been rendered null & void by this Court. Justice Kagan in dissent: “We are a higher court than the District Court, but we are not a better one when it comes to making such a fact-based decision.”

Pretty notable, in my view, that Kagan points out the Supreme Court's pro-gerrymandering decision in Texas is a step-by-step instruction manual for states to draw discriminatory maps while ducking judicial review, and the majority has...nothing to say in response

Simply amazing that the Supreme Court declared an end to legal race discrimination in the affirmative action case two years ago and now allows overt racism in both immigration arrests and redistricting. Using race to help minorities? Bad. Using it to discriminate against them? Very, very good.

It's a campaign of terror. Her terror (and the terror of entire communities, forced into hiding) is not incidental. It is a product they are manufacturing, a key part of the spectacle for their intended audience. Which is the terrorized, but also the terror consumers.

Hepatitis B infection in infancy (almost half of all HepB is caught in childhood) is associated with a 90% chance of becoming a chronic infection (ie the body can never clear the virus), and is highly likely to progress to liver failure and liver cancer. Vaccinating at birth has reduced this by 99%
