this story really isn’t getting the public traction — not news coverage, public traction — that it deserves, seeing as we all use the drugs they regulate, even rich people!

Our current medical establishment became famous not because they did things, but because they produced an enormous amount of content where they *called for* things. They proposed and argued for things. They boasted of things they “would have” done. How are all they doing now that they have power?

Vinay Prasad got famous not because of his on the ground accomplishments, but because he “called for” other people to do things. Many people gave him enormous credit for that. Prasad “called for” so many wonderful and obvious things!🧵

Who cares about their theoretical opinions on evidence and science and data and critical appraisal when they helped place chaos agents in charge of everything. That was their real contribution to science, research, and evidence. That’s what matters.

Incredibly, the doctor who scoured social media for pictures of well known masked doctors, to publicly blame them for the lack of trust has turned out to be an incompetent manager.
