RFK Jr. did not come up with idea that diet is important to health. This has been promoted for decades, including, famously, by Michelle Obama. In fact, he doesn’t even believe it himself. If he did he’d be busy making sure kids in the U.S. had enough to eat, instead of cutting food benefits.

The AMA claims that part of their mission is “to confront public health crises”. Yet their President ignored the current public health crisis caused by RFK Jr. so that he could do a photo op with him today. He also thinks that the “vaccine issue” should be addressed politely. Fuck that.

Another quote from the AMA President that is disturbing is this: “I’m totally fine with disagreeing politely in a way that would lead to conversation as opposed to criticism”. Why? Why can you not bring yourself to forcefully and unequivocally reject RFK Jr.’s anti-vaccine campaign?

Also disappointing is this quote from the AMA President: “On the vaccine issue, I know we see things differently. I’m totally fine with putting that on the shelf and working on this together”. You can’t put the “vaccine issue” on a shelf. It is harming people all over the globe.

I have never wavered in my position that there can be no compromise with RFK Jr. He is a dangerous fraud who has caused incalculable damage to public health. It’s extremely disappointing that the President of the American Medical Association was doing a photo op with RFK Jr. this morning.

Trump is likely going to pull Casey Means’ nomination because the enormous backlash has made her toxic to electeds. Until it’s official, there is still time to join us at @defendpublichealth.bsky.social and write to your Senator to oppose her.

It brings me no end of joy to know how many people are gearing up to deface money that has Trump’s signature on it. Making/ordering stamps, planning their strategy, etc. I’m going to collect as much of it as I can and set up the world’s tiniest protest graffiti art museum in my wallet.

I just did 2.5 hours in an MRI and I’ve had COVID19 vaccines numbering in the double digits, so I think we can confidently conclude that the vaccines don’t, in fact, magnetize a person.

I’d like to point out as well that as I was making my lil Table of CDC Directors I had to laugh, because only the woman was required to have relevant training and experience for the position. For the men, it was what the hell, let’s just give them the job in the absence of any real qualifications.

Trump’s failure to nominate a new CDC Director is just another symptom of the weapons-grade incompetence of The Regime. The CDC could easily have been just humming along in the background while the U.S., I don’t know, starts wars and such. But no. And this is also a national security threat.

A new study of if Paxlovid reduces the risk of LongCOVID shows that overall, it does not. There was a significant reduction in GI-related LongCOVID (37%), but there was also a 97% increase in eye-and ear-related LongCOVID with Pax. There was a modest reduction in LongCOVID among those 65-75 yrs.

I mentioned earlier that only about 25% of Full Professors in STEM were women when I retired in 2024. But only 2% of Full Professors in any discipline were Black women. And The Regime can’t even tolerate *that*.
