Eliminating luxury taxes on yachts & private jets reduced Carney government revenues by roughly the same amount as they "saved" by being cruel to vulnerable refugees. It says so very much about our banker in chief's "values."

It's almost like Ford and handlers were willing to lie to create key messaging impugning an entire program in service of austerity. In the Before Times, this would have been a scandal.

Okay but the Carney government also awarded American-owned Ford $464M to make trucks in Oakville and The Canadian Press never reported on those funds as a “handout” to keep it “afloat”.

A Canadian making $70k a year will save $11 a month. This will reduce contributions to the plan by $3 billion. A year. I can't even fathom the thinking that went into this. Carney keeps doing these tax breaks that don't do shit for individuals but cost the government billions. It's pathological.

RCMP marks its 106th straight annual loss. Canadian Armed Forces marks its 58th straight annual loss. That's what happens with a government service. It's not a for profit business.

What is the Conservative Party doing that is different from what they ran on last year? What has changed? Or is it just the Liberal Party has become more conservative and right leaning people feel more comfortable there now.

This is where we're at folks. This is who the Canadian Gov. says isn't welcome. But an Islamophobic, anti-vaxxer, is welcomed into the government's ranks and the entire media conversation is about how her views are now acceptable in a position of power as long as she's discreet about them.
