I often get technical questions — on social media or otherwise — and I am happy to help when I can. In an effort to make it easier to get support, I am opening up (paid) office hours on Friday afternoons.

The Vesias definitely saw what the Blue Jays did, as evidenced by their thanking the Toronto organization for their support. I'm going to start crying again. Kindness feels revolutionary right now but it matters so much.

I will never forget the Toronto Blue Jays relief pitchers sharpie-ing Vesia’s number on their caps during games 6 and 7 of the World Series for as long as I live. Just a simple act of love and solidarity and sportsmanship so desperately needed in these awful times. Class organization.

One of the most beautiful things about the Irish is their respect for the arts. You find live music at most bars, I went to a literary pub crawl & saw monuments & museums dedicated to writers, poets, musicians, etc. They understand the value of supporting artists & I wish Canada did, too.

I found out this morning that self-publishing types can use Canva to create EPUBs. They are the most gruesome, inaccessible, and dysfunctional EPUBs that I've ever seen. 0/10 would not recommend.

At the game on Friday night, while I was looking particularly anxious, a woman across the aisle with a glove on her head who seemed rather tipsy, looked over at me, winked, and mouthed, "We got this." She's the real MVP.

Sorry, one last post. Without question, the TTC and the city are the anti-MVPs. Getting transit along King Street was impossible and so, after that long game, my kid and I walked 5km to our car (parked out of the core anticipating celebrations). The most furious walk of our lives.

What I love so much about the Poulin jersey is it's strictly for *us*, it needs no explanation to the average Canadian sports fan but Fox is gonna need a two-paragraph explanation where they pronounce her name wrong. Vladdy just organically understands the moment.
