The D-backs have called up No. 10 prospect LuJames Groover to the Majors. He was hitting .322/.421/.452 with three homers and a 43/37 K/BB ratio in 56 games for Triple-A Reno. Jose Fernandez was optioned and Taylor Rashi was DFA'd to make room for Groover on the 26- and 40-man rosters.

Blue Jays prospect Sean Keys' promotion to Triple-A Buffalo is now official. The 23-year-old infielder hit .285/.411/.581 in 49 games with Double-A New Hampshire. His 14 homers were tied for second-most in the Eastern League, while his .992 OPS ranked third.
