With Owen Caissie headed to the Marlins, revisit this @jimcallis.bsky.social piece on the outfielder from when he debuted in the Majors in August. Since then, he posted a 114.0 max EV in the Majors (third-highest for a Cub in 2025) but really struggled against changeups (10 whiffs on 18 swings).

Per multiple sources, Cubs are sending prospects Owen Caissie, Cristian Hernandez and Edgardo DeLeon to the Marlins in exchange for Cabrera.
