Happy to be here
A teenager jumps to death at square one and an officer was involved and a driver kills a pedestrian on Eglinton within 24 hours of each other and neither incident will illicit even a yawn from Mississauga residents. It's as dystopian as whatever is happening in the states right now. Ffs.

Putting Spence and Richy on the same side of the pitch was way too negative. We really need more LB/RB options and should prioritize in the Jan window. Porro wasn't great either. This is turning out to be a lynchpin role on our team.

Watched Top Gun: Maverick last night for the first time and it was terrible. Awkward, disjointed, way too much fan service, too long, and was basically boomer fodder. The characters behaved as if they all grew up watching the movie Top Gun.

Udogie makes a huge difference on the left. He and Odobert are a really nice partnership. Palhinha deserves some respect on his name, he made some great forward passes and Ive been told he can't do that. Tel and Richys goal were needed. Sarr looks really good in his new role, as does Xavi.

I think we are improving, albeit slowly. We are showing more intent and structure in our build up, which wasnt really a thing even a few games ago. Frank constantly fiddling with the line up will pay off in the long run but is disruptive and as a result will take longer for everything to gel.

The key factor in that goal, beyond Vic being unable to stay on the line, is that the corner should never have happened in the first place. We were way too loose with the ball in the closing minutes of the game when defending a lead.

It's worrying that when a team presses us high up the pitch, we crumble. Bournemouth, Newcastle, Chelsea.

It must be difficult for the players to go from Ange, who would do his best William Wallace impression before games to Frank, who says "they can take our lives, but they will not be able to take our throw ins!!"

It turns out when you charge the highest seat prices in the league the fans get disgruntled when they see their team play poorly.

Xavi and Spence do not gel well, both have pretty heavy touches on the ball and as a result the ball is not well contained on our left. Xavi is 100% responsible for that goal, he could have turned his body and had tons of space to move into and instead he put it on Micky and then watched.

Lots of negativity surrounding Frank, which is so strange. We finished 17th last year, I didn't think we'd get a point in the champions League let alone 5/9. Most of the issues today were individual quality - 4 or 5 players played poorly. Porro needs a break. Kudus needs to be rested too.

I think part of Franks approach to the season is to not burn guys out. Lots of rotation, consistently lower running stats, not a ton of sprints, and coddling every injury. We'll see how it plays out, but at the moment it's showing as zero aggression.

We play like a team that is a man down. Like, if we got a red card, I don't think anyone would notice. I get that we are building our rest defense, and it looked very good today, and hopefully we will see progress with our progression, but boy it's weird seeing us stall all the time.

I lost it with Ange due to the constant losses which made me not want to watch games anymore and more importantly the continual gaps and errors on the pitch that weren't being addressed. But I'm seeing those gaps and errors now with Frank and maybe it's more a Porro/Johnson/Sarr/Ben10 issue

Also, I think we could have played Richy on the left, Odobert on the right and BJ in the middle and it would have only been an improvement.

I don't think it's good that teams continually and successfully target Pedro Porro's side of the field. He hasn't offered nearly enough offensively to warrant his starts and we should be looking to upgrade.

The basis for Ezra Klein's politics is that the 2024 election was a landslide and the 2020 election was a narrow victory. Nevermind the gerrymandering and getting millions thrown off the voters list, the 2024 election was won by 2 million votes and the 2020 election was won by 7 million votes.

In my view, this is the awkward growth phase. Im not expecting to see fluid playing until at least the new year, so I'm okay with sloppiness at this stage of the squads development. That we are getting results right now is a huge bonus esp against teams like Brighton and Wolves.

We definitely forgot how to play for about 70% of that game, but 3-0 is a good result and, at this stage in Franks tenure, getting minutes for Tel, Odobert, Grey, Xavi, and Kinsky is money in the bank.

Overall this has been a very good transfer window for Spurs. Their approach appears to be to sign players who were hot 2-3 years ago but have since cooled a bit. This means high talent, high performing players, who just didn't fit where they've been playing for one reason or another.

I know there's lots of considerations with the transfer window and it's not always possible fill a position, but when was the last time we signed a LB or RB? Was it Porro? I'm not hugely comfortable with Spence having to cover both positions, with Gray and Davies as third options.

Porro is playing poorly and we have no alternative. Johnson is just off it and I'm unsure our bench can do any better. Bentancur is out to lunch and again it's hard to think of an alternative without a change in shape. We are not quite at a well built team.

1. Ref is bad 2. Porro is bad 3. Semenyo isn't 4. They keep targeting Porro 5. It's working 6. Bentancur, Johnson, Richy are poor 7. We are playing our forwards too high and our mids too low 8. We are essentially relying on Sarr for our attack 9. Bournemouth are playing really well 10. We aren't

Perennial reminder to smug Canadians showing consternation towards our American neighbours in reaction to the latest school shooting and whom are scratching their heads over the enormous American gun death cult: We have one too, it's just a death cult towards cars.

A game a week, this Spurs side cooks. But that was kinda the way it was under Conte and Ange. I'm a bit weary once the schedule picks up. We need a few more touches of class to go with our young potential.

Bentancur. BENTANCUR. The remontada needs to be recognized. He's been phenomenal and everywhere. So tidy and composed. Him and Palhinha are serious business.

This is the transfer window of a team that went from 5th to 17th. We still see ourselves as the former but most players see us as the latter.

So many positives: - Ben10 and Palhinha getting rest and giving Grey and Bergvall time in midfield. - Defensively solid. We got into dicey situations but the back line handled everything. Clean sheet +++ - Richy and Kudus looking so good so early. Very complimentary qualities.

For all the excuses there were no solutions. You don't want a manager who can perform only in sunlight, you need one to find success in the storm. Hopefully the club has spent the last 4 months looking for a better manager and it isn't a drawn out mess in the off season.

I think we've given up goals from that area with no pressure on the player five or six times in the last ten games. But I know I know the players enjoyed themselves too much, too many changes, the sun is too bright, the grass is too green, and there's nothing we can possibly do about it.

When they last met, City scored 5 unanswered goals to win 5-2. Today, Palace shuts them out. I fear any possibility of Spurs getting Glasner just went out the door.

You can see that with a bit extra quality, this could work. Hopefully we get to see the mids switch and Reggy swap out. Credit to Ange, he's addressing deficiencies in his set up.

I know this is a nothing game, but this and the past few games have been a chance for Ange to better develop his system. He knows there are huge gaps left, particularly when we press. He knows we have a hard time advancing the ball up the field when we are pressed, in particular with a front two.
